Terms of Service

1. Service Description

FormCatch is a form backend service that allows developers to collect form submissions from static websites without writing server-side code. We provide form endpoints, email notifications, spam protection, data storage, CSV export, and API access.

2. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid GitHub or Google account to sign up
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
• One person or organization may not maintain more than one free account

3. Free and Paid Plans

FormCatch offers both free and paid plans:

• Free plan: Includes 3 form endpoints and 100 submissions per month. No credit card required. Subject to fair use limits.
• Paid plans: Offer higher limits on endpoints, submissions, and additional features. Billed monthly or annually as described on the pricing page.
• We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

4. Refund Policy

Paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service, contact us within 14 days of your payment for a full refund. Refunds after 14 days are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use FormCatch to:

• Collect data for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable law
• Send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited messages
• Collect sensitive personal data (e.g., credit card numbers, social security numbers, health records) without appropriate security measures and legal compliance
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute FormCatch as your own service

You are solely responsible for the content of forms you create and the data you collect through your endpoints. You must comply with all applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in your use of FormCatch.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all form submission data collected through your endpoints. FormCatch does not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. You can export or delete your data at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible. Unplanned outages may occur.

8. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless you export it first
• We will attempt to notify you before termination when possible

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormCatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Disclaimer

FormCatch is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
